1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account, purchasing a class or membership, joining a waitlist, or attending a class at Local Fitness Studio (“Local Lagree,” “we,” “our,” or “us”), you agree to these Terms & Conditions (“Terms”). These Terms govern your access to and use of our studio, website, services, memberships, and products. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

We may update these Terms at any time. Any material changes will be communicated to clients, and continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

2. Studio Usage Policies

  • Age Requirement: You must be at least 18 years of age to attend class.

  • Arrival: Returning clients should arrive at least 5 minutes early; new clients must arrive 10–15 minutes early. For safety and flow, the door will be locked once class begins. No late entry permitted.

  • Grip Socks: Required for hygiene and safety; available for purchase in-studio.

  • Instructor & Class Changes: Instructors, class formats, and schedules are subject to change without notice.

  • Waiver: All clients must sign a waiver prior to participating in class.

3. Reservations, Cancellations & Fees

  • Advance Cancellation: Cancel at least 12 hours before class to avoid penalties.

  • Late Cancel: Cancellations within 12 hours incur a $15 fee.

  • No-Show: Failure to attend incurs a $20 fee (and forfeiture of class credit or one day of unlimited membership).

  • Buddy Pass: If attending on a member’s buddy pass, the sponsoring member is responsible for late cancel/no-show fees.

  • Waitlist Policy: An active membership or class pack is required to join the waitlist. If a spot opens, you will be automatically added—up until 1 hour before class start—and subject to the cancellation policy. To avoid being added when unavailable (e.g., early morning classes), please remove yourself from the waitlist in advance.

4. Memberships, Packages & Payments

  • Purchases: All sales are final, non-refundable, and non-transferable. Multi-class packages cannot be shared.

  • Membership Auto-Renewal: Memberships renew automatically unless canceled at least 5 days before the next billing cycle via written request.

  • Membership Freeze: Memberships may not be paused. In the case of extenuating circumstances, please contact the studio.

  • Payment Methods: We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express. Cash is not accepted.

  • Unpaid Balances: Failure to maintain a valid payment method may result in service suspension, fees, and/or account deactivation.

  • Price Changes: Pricing is subject to change. Credits and packages retain value until their stated expiration.

5. Refunds & Expiration

  • Class Packages: Valid only within their expiration period (clearly stated at purchase). Expiration extensions may be granted for extenuating circumstances.

  • Gift Cards: Do not expire but become non-refundable once applied to an account.

  • No Refund Policy: Except as required by law, fees and purchases are non-refundable.

6. Health & Safety

Participation in classes is voluntary and at your own risk. You are responsible for ensuring you are physically capable of participation. Please consult a physician before starting any exercise program.

Local Fitness Studio is not liable for injuries sustained during class participation. By attending, you assume full responsibility for any and all risks.

7. Liability Waiver & Release

By attending class, you acknowledge and agree that:

  • Physical exercise carries inherent risks, including risk of injury.

  • Local Fitness Studio its owners, instructors, employees, and affiliates are not liable for personal injury, loss, or property damage arising from participation.

  • You release Local Fitness Studio from all claims except those arising from gross negligence or willful misconduct.

8. Dispute Resolution & Arbitration

We aim to resolve issues respectfully and promptly. Please email us with your concern.

By agreeing to these Terms, you consent to resolve disputes through binding, individual arbitration under the Federal Arbitration Act. Disputes will not be handled on a class or collective basis. If the class action waiver is found unenforceable, arbitration will not apply, and disputes will be resolved in court.

9. Florida Buyer’s Rights (Health Studio Law Compliance)

Local Fitness Studio, LLC is registered with the State of Florida as a Health Studio. Registration No. [Insert Number].

Florida law entitles members to:

  1. Three-Day Cancellation: Cancel within 3 business days (excluding weekends/holidays) of purchasing for a full refund.

  2. Closure/Relocation: If the studio permanently closes or relocates more than 5 driving miles without providing a comparable facility within 30 days, you may cancel and receive a prorated refund.

  3. Death or Disability: Contracts may be canceled with proof of death or medical disability, subject to prorated refund.

Notice: If you pay for more than one month in advance, you are paying for future services and assume the risk of loss if the studio ceases operations. Florida law does not require the studio to provide financial security for prepaid amounts.

10. Intellectual Property

All content, branding, logos, and materials on our website or in-studio are the property of Local Fitness Studio. Unauthorized reproduction or distribution is prohibited.

11. Miscellaneous

  • Governing Law: These Terms are governed by the laws of Florida and applicable federal law.

  • Severability: If any provision is found unenforceable, the remainder shall remain in effect.

  • Entire Agreement: These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and Local Lagree and supersede prior agreements.
